As Wales’ largest resort, it is not hard to see why Llandudno has
been attracting visitors for so long. Flanked by the Great Orme and Little Orme
headlands this sheltered resort has a long flat palm tree lined promenade and
wonderful, wide sandy beach. Hotels and guest houses line the seafront with a
wide selection of shops and cafes in the main shopping area. The long Victoria
Pier is also another highlight of the town – the perfect spot to enjoy a
sunset. This region is full of delights with a host of historic towns,
castles, houses and gardens to visit. But perhaps the highlight is Snowdonia.
Snowdonia National Park covers a vast area of natural beauty and unique scenery
with mountain ranges, gorges, lakes, waterfalls, rivers and forests.
