In the morning we depart for the stunning Ightham Mote. This beautiful medieval moated manor house is stunning and has a superb interior to discover. Outside, there are wonderful gardens to enjoy with a series of water features.  We head on to Chartwell House. This fascinating property was the family home of Winston Churchill and remains much as it was when the family lived here.

DAY 3
Enjoy a full breakfast before we head off again - our destination today is the nearby Leeds Castle.  With a breathtaking location on a lake - Leeds has been described as ‘the loveliest castle in the world’. It certainly has an amazing history, being the private home of medieval queens, a palace used by Henry VIII, right up to the modern day when its 500 acres of parkland and gardens have made the castle one of the most visited historic venues in the country. Returning to the hotel mid afternoon for free time.

DAY 4
After breakfast we head for Canterbury. This historic destination is dominated by the magnificent Cathedral, the oldest in England, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which has played such an important part in our history. But there is much more to Canterbury, with other ancient ruins such as the Castle and a lovely cobbled centre to explore on foot. Free time for the day - returning to the hotel late afternoon.

DAY 5
We head home with a stop for lunch in historic Chichester. Arriving back in the local area around 3/4.00pm - returned to your home by our service.
