Looe & Magical Cornwall - Mon 24th Sept 2018
- Duration: 5 Days
- Product code: PMHF1W
Superb holiday staying in the very heart of Cornish life in Looe and with excursions discovering the beautiful countryside, towns and people of the region. The historic fishing Port of Looe on Cornwall’s south coast is amazing - you can ‘feel’ the history of the town centred around the bustling harbour where you can watch the catch being ‘brought-in’ by the fishing boats.
It’s a great place to explore - stroll through the labyrinth of narrow streets lined with cafes, antique shops and pick up a tasty pasty in one of the bakers to enjoy on the sandy beach. A wonderful destination for a lovely holiday.
After being collected from your local pick up point around 9.00am we have a brief comfort stop and a main stop for lunch before arriving at the hotel around 4.00pm.
A day at leisure for you today and a chance to explore the town. Maybe enjoy time on the lovely sandy beach or venture further afield along the South West Coast Path or on the local bus.
Mid morning we depart for the picture postcard fishing village of Polperro with plenty of time to explore, and find somewhere nice for lunch.
Superb excursion today as we head in land to one of the National Trust’s flagship properties, Lanhydrock. Follow in the footsteps of the Robartes family at this lovely country house & estate. Entrance included. £10 discount for NT members.
We shall leave the hotel after breakfast and have a stop for lunch before arriving back to your local drop off point around 5.00pm.
