Manchester is one of the most exciting places to visit in the UK.

Known throughout the world as the birthplace of the industrial revolution, Manchester has a proud history in science, politics, music, arts and sport. The city has moved in to the 21st Century and is a modern metropolis incorporating technological industries whilst retaining and reimagining much of its attractive industrial heritage.

Manchester city centre is jam-packed with unique restaurants, bars, shops, museums, galleries and hotels with a splendid public transport system.

DAY 1
After being collected from your local pick up point around 8.00/9.00am we stop on route for comfort stops as required before arriving at the hotel late afternoon.

DAY 2
After breakfast we board the coach and are joined by a local guide for a panoramic tour across the city. This should include most of the major landmarks including the town hall, Salford Quays, MediaCity, Old Trafford Football Stadium, Gorton Monastery, John Rylands Library, The Lowry and much more. Free time in the city centre after. You may choose to make your own way back to the hotel if you wish.

DAY 3
After breakfast we board the Mersey Ferry boat at nearby Salford Quays around 10.00am for a six hour cruise to Liverpool. During a unique journey through time, discover how this magnificent waterway shaped the industrial landscape of the region, while passing through locks and past bridges that have remained largely unchanged since their construction over 100 years ago. After arriving in Liverpool we return to Manchester by coach for dinner.
