The county has enjoyed a resurgence over the last twenty years as the popularity of outdoor pursuits and sports like surfing have attracted visitors from far and wide to visit and stay.
Only 28 miles southwest of Lands End the beautiful sub-tropical Isles of Scilly are on many peoples list of ‘must-see’ destinations. This holiday offers the chance of taking the boat from Penzance, our base for this holiday, for a memorable day on St. Marys. Please book early to secure your place.
After being collected from your local pick up point around 8.00/9.00am we have comfort stops as required before arriving at the hotel late afternoon, with time to relax before dinner.
After a full breakfast you are free to enjoy Penzance. The town has a mix of shops, galleries,restaurants, and cafes and overlooks the iconic St Michaels Mount. We recommend a visit today.
Today you have the option of joining our excursion to the Isles of Scilly. The Scillonian III departs from Penzance at 9.15 for the 2hr 45 minute crossing to St Mary with 4 ½ hours to enjoy the beautiful island. Returning to the hotel for dinner. Excursion cost - £40. Flights also available.
Today we shall be joined by our excellent local guide to discover the history of the region including wonderful coast and country views.
We depart in the morning having stops as required - returning to the local area around 5.00pm.
